Goals 5/31

Today I am planning to start the part on ethical considerations and revise the section on validity. Hopefully after this I can move on to actually start writing about what I did in the study, which I hope will be a little easier. Let's see if I get there today.

Reflection 5/30

Today I did not really accomplish the goal. It took me two hours to revise everything I wrote yesterday, so I didn't really have much time for the rest. Also, the section is a lot longer than I thought it would be. It's probably going to take around 4 pages, which is double than what I initially expected.  But I am hoping that later today I can get back to this and finish it up. It's a really tedious part talking about validity, and I just want to finish it. Hopefully later.

Reflection and Goals 5/30

Yesterday I was able to get started with the philosophy for the mixed-methods research design. I wrote out an outline and I did the first subsection. Today my plan is to finish this whole part of the philosophy. I believe it won't take more than 2 pages, so it's doable. I also have some time later today to keep writing on this section if I don't get it done in the morning. I really want to be done with this theoretical part.

Goals 5/29

My goals for today: Find some bibliography to talk about mixed methods more in-depth and get started with the subsections about mixed-methods. I would like to have at least an outline of what topics I want to talk about in this subsection.

Hello thesis writers!

Hello! My name is Emi and I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Foreign Language Acquisition Research and Education (FLARE). This is my 4 th  year in the program and I am hoping to finish next academic year (Spring 2018). I focus my research on Peer Review, in an L2 Spanish classroom setting. I'm interested in analyzing the role of the feedback giver, and the benefit of giving comments on the reviewers' final performance. My plan plan this summer is to get started in my dissertation. I haven't written anything since September last year, so I really need a push. In fact, I decided not to go back to my country (Spain) so that I can attend the summer camp and get the dissertation started. This needs to get done ASAP! I am excited to meet you all and I will see you soon!
